5Vout models with +20% trim function enables optimal tuning of 5V Low Drop-Out Linear Regulators for Extremely Low Ripple & Noise

TRACO POWER's THN 15WI / THN 20WI / THN 30WI families of 15, 20 and 30 watt converters has been extended with "-A1" suffix models which offer extended trim range up to 6VDC. The extended trim function up to 6 VDC make these DC/DC converters perfect for LDO regulator applications, reducing power losses over the LDO while eliminating almost all ripple and noise components and provide a clean 5 VDC output voltage. This makes these converters ideal for providing isolation and regulation for circuits in low-noise applications.
